Karl has been the group trainer for Travelling Fit for 4 years and he has also been training me personally for such events as the Marathon des Sables, a 250km, multi-day stage race through the Moroccan Sahara Desert.

Whilst Karl has not participated in this type of event himself, he had the professional skill and knowledge to put together a training program that was far removed from anything I could have imagined yet managed to achieve results beyond my wildest expectations. I placed 1st Australian female and 15th female overall.

I owe a huge debt of gratitude to MV8 for a huge turnaround in my life. Approaching 40, doing all the wrong things, stacking on the weight and not feeling good about it. Through improved nutrition and increased physical activity I have lost 24kg in 4 months. This means a drop from size 40 jeans to 34, or from a 48R suit to a 42R. Won't be long until I can squeeze into my 38R wedding suit again!

So, of course you expect that your PT will work you hard in your session, and Karl certainly does that. But it's what Karl does OUTSIDE your session that makes MV8 special. He is genuinely interested in his clients and their success. Little touches like a text thanking you for a good session that day, or a group text reminding everyone to eat right. Join MV8 on Facebook and you'll get regular motivational messages and tips. And if you travel a bit, Karl will design for you a program you can do in your hotel room or hotel gym, or you can even book a live Skype session if you want.

For me, this has what has worked: I work out hard with Karl once or twice a week, I have some "homework" I try to fit in around that, and I am only putting things in my mouth which feed the machine. Now I am motivated not only to achieve my goals but also to please Karl! I want to come in each week stronger, leaner, lighter and ready to work harder, I enjoy seeing him get satisfaction from my success, and that motivates me to keep going.

When I initially started with Karl it was all about losing the weight, however Karl's attitude and motivation have not only helped me lose heaps of weight but he has changed my views and opinions about diet and lifestyle as well. I have 3 little boys who have heaps of energy and i'm happy to say i can now keep up with them whether it be on the beach or kicking a ball down on the footy field.

I cant say thank you enough to Karl and his approach to helping me get to where I am today, he somehow manages to get me super motivated and always has a happy smile on his face while doing it. Finally I saw  the entry to the Who Reader Body Challenge and thought well if I get  this then there is no excuse. Never did I think it would be so life  changing. Some mornings it seems more inviting to stay in bed particularly through the cooler winter months but for the past 3 years I have been training with Karl from MV8 ® the satisfaction of having my exercise session out of the way by 7am never goes away.

Prior to undertaking MV8 ® training, I was dissatisfied with conventional Gym's and exercise classes because they were monotonous and repetitive. I found MV8 ®'s website and haven't looked back.

I really love exercising in the outdoors and training on Terrigal beach, so MV8 ® is just perfect for me, I've been with Karl for 6 months and the time has just flown. MV8 ® also has its own Gym, so if it's raining we have the luxury of training indoors, which makes life easier.

Karl's training sessions are always different, with heaps of variation, so I always look forward to each session because it's new and fresh. At first I was concerned about the amount of running involved, but Karl only ever includes short runs so it's never too taxing.

Since starting with MV8 ® my fitness level has improved greatly and I feel much healthier. You leave each session feeling alive, invigorated and ready for the day ahead. I've dropped a dress size and plan on dropping another.

After the birth of my two children I experienced a little weight gain, and needed a little bit of a tone up. I'm not someone who is very "motivated" to get up and go to the gym at any time let alone at 6.am in the morning... However, after starting with Karl at MV8 ®, I have seen and felt the difference a little exercise can make (even at 6.00am). I am now feeling healthier, and looking more toned than ever before. I have lost 5 kilo's and now fit in to those size 8's!! I love training with Karl, he is motivating and fun!
